POTSDAM – Soprano Margaret Chalker will present a faculty recital at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24 in Snell Theater at SUNY Potsdam. Her recital will open with members of her voice studio joining in a performance of "Elegy" by Albin Zak. The rest of Chalker's program, titled "Stories and Snippets," will feature much-beloved operatic arias, including from Wagner's "Die Walkure," Puccini's "Gianni Schicchi," Verdi's "Rigoletto," Bizet's "Carmen," Strauss's "Der Rosenkavalier," Menotti's "The Counsul," and Mozart's "Die Zauberflote" and "The Marriage of Figaro."
