MORRISTOWN -- Their annual Fireworks Display will highlight the sky on the eve of Independence Day, Wednesday, July 3 at dusk. A parade will be held on July 4 beginning at 10 a.m. starting on Morristown's Main Street, followed by activities at the Fire Station, and a Car Show and Craft Fair on the Ballfield.
Wednesday, July 3
Gigantic Fireworks Display at dusk; live music by Another Fine Mess (7 to 11 p.m.), concession stand (hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage, F\rench fries & ice cold beverages) and local vendors.
There will also be Kids games, games of chance and 50/50 raffle tickets.
Thursday, July 4
The Annual Steve Spilman Memorial 4th of July Parade begins at 10 am. Bands from Gouverneur, Heuvelton, Lisbon, Morristown and Ogdensburg are slated to perform. The parade will begin on Main Street (near the intersection of SH 37) heading downtown, turn right onto Chapmen Str, disbanding on Golden St.
The following activities to follow the parade at the Fire Station beginning at 11:30am:
Chicken BBQ ($15), concession stand Kids Games, games of chance 50/50 raffle tickets, a car show and Morristown Fire Department Auxiliary Craft Fair.
