Both Congresswoman Elise Stefanik and Senator Dan Stec issued statements supporting Donald Trump for president following Thursday night’s presidential debate.

"This is the greatest presidential debate win in history. President Donald J. Trump overwhelmingly won tonight’s debate from the economy and the border to foreign policy and the sanctity of life, President Trump laid out a vision to Save America. Joe Biden’s abysmal performance proved  what the American people already know: that Joe Biden is mentally and physically unfit to serve as President of the United States,” said Stefanik, House Republican Conference Chairwoman.

“President Trump's America First agenda will save our country from the crises created by Joe Biden's failed leadership. President Trump will crush Bidenflation, secure our Southern and Northern Borders, bring back American energy dominance, restore law and order, end Biden's unconstitutional weaponization of our federal government, and save our democracy. This election is the most important election in our nation's history and the American people know we must elect President Donald J. Trump,” she added.

Sen. Stec agreed with the congresswoman.

“Last night’s presidential debate between President Biden and former President Trump only underscored what a majority of Americans already know or suspected: President Biden is simply not up to the task of being President.”

“By nearly every vital statistical measure – from immigration, inflation and crime to geopolitical conflict – the United States performed better under a Trump Administration than the Biden Administration. At no point in last night’s debate did President Biden grasp that fact, nor did he articulate a clear, or any, vision of how he would get our great nation back on track.”

“We need to restore America’s status as a global economic and foreign policy leader. The debate last night made it more clear than ever – to American voters, as well as our foreign adversaries - that this will not happen under a continued Biden Administration.

“I’m pleased to make a formal endorsement in this year’s Presidential Election. In November, I’ll be voting to end the disastrous Biden Administration and will be voting to re-elect President Donald J. Trump.”
