CANTON – A free two-day educational series designed for anyone interested in starting their own farm or exploring ways to diversify their farm will be offered by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County Sept. 27 from 6-8 p.m. and Sept. 28 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. These courses will be located at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County Office at 2043B State Highway 68, Canton. Designed for anyone who is interested in starting their own farm or exploring ways to diversify their farm. Learn about starting and operating an agribusiness and learn about the different forms of agriculture.  Topics: business planning, marketing, livestock, horticulture, and value-added processing.
