POTSDAM – The Crane Wind Ensemble will present its first concert of the semester, titled "Regeneration," on Friday, Sept. 20 at 7:30 p.m., in the Helen M. Hosmer Concert Hall at SUNY Potsdam. The program includes an arrangement of Dmitri Shostakovich's "Festive Overture," a new work ("Regeneration") by young composer Kevin Charoensri, Jindrich Feld's "Divertimento for Wind Orchestra," and "The Black Horse Troop" by John Philip Sousa. The second half opens with "Sweet Chariot" by Carlos Simon, followed by the full "William Byrd Suite" by Gordon Jacob. www.potsdam.edu/cranelive.
