CANTON – Regional organization Waste Not Permaculture is presenting a screening of the award winning 2023 movie about regenerative agriculture, “Common Ground,” on Friday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Canton United Methodist Church, 21 Court St.
The discussion to follow the film screening will focus on the question: can this model be replicated in Saint Lawrence County?
The panel discussion will feature local farmers Joel Howie from Canton Apples and Kia Beth Bennett from Bittersweet Farm. Audience questions and feedback are encouraged.
